A Dragon's Lair: First Encounter

I've created a magical collection of chance encounters between humans and dragons. Each painting in this series is from the same universe. With these paintings, I hope people will be inspired to imagine the motives and interactions of the characters, creating their own imaginative stories. This scene captures the moment where a dragon pokes her head through the waterfall entrance to her cave to greet the magician who has travelled miles in search of her. They gaze upon each other curiously, each wondering how they will be received. Will they be friends or foes?
