About the Artist
Cassie Holsopple
Art has been one of my loves since I was in third grade. I began taking community art classes around that time and have always found great comfort and joy in creating beautiful artwork. I have two very special interests when approaching my subject matter: dragons and birds. My art will either transport you to a magical fantasy world, or highlight different bird species and other wildlife, bringing attention to wildlife conservation issues.
While I was in school earning my BFA in Graphic Design, I fell in love with all of my studio art classes. I immediately wanted to pursue art more and set up my Etsy shop in 2019. These days, I also like to take the lessons I learned from school and my experience over the years to teach in my community. I love sharing the joy of creating artwork!
I find myself dreaming about fantasy worlds constantly. With my art I want to create new, magical and epic worlds. Each painting has its own story, and some day I hope to write them down!
I am also ever-fascinated by birds. I guess I have a soft spot for creatures with wings. One of my favorite things to do is visit zoos, aquariums and aviaries to admire the birds and capture my own photos, which I then turn into works of art to share with you!
